Community Christmas Caroling
Christmas is a time of spreading cheer and glad tidings and nothing is better at doing this than Christmas caroling. Come help spread some Christmas cheer and enjoy some family fun. We’re loading up at the Wando Woods civic center and riding through the Pastor’s neighborhood before returning to his house for sweet treats and hot drinks. We will also be collecting perishable food items from the residents to benefit our Blessing Box ministry!
Sunday’s 11 AM – Sermon Series for December
Come join us as we examine the nativity story by investigating the characters who either missed out on or almost missed out on the birth of Christ. As we learn from these stories, there are many things that can keep us from being transformed by Jesus’ birth—whether it be distraction, selfishness, or disappointment. Looking at the gospels of Matthew and Luke, this series warns us that we could miss out on the real meaning of Christmas if we aren’t careful.
December 24 @ 4PM – Christmas Eve Service and Play
Christmas is time of family traditions and making family memories as you celebrate the season of giving. We would like to invite you to make River Oaks a part of your tradition. At Christmas Eve you will enjoy a candle light service, a children’s play, Christmas worship and inspiring message. Bring your whole family and prepare for Christmas day with us!
River Oaks services will pause until after the New Year. We invite you back to Church as we resume meetings on Sunday, January 5th at 11am.
